Hello and welcome to the International Justice Lab (IJL): the newest addition to William & Mary’s Global Research Institute (GRI)! We are thrilled to join the GRI as it enters its second decade of cutting-edge collaborative research.
IJL was created to ask and answer questions about legal and quasi-legal institutions that aim to protect the world’s most vulnerable populations, and provide relief and redress for human rights violations and other harms.
Our mission is to produce high-quality social science research that is relevant to policy makers, practitioners, and civil society advocates. To do this, we bring together faculty and students from across the United States and leverage complementary backgrounds and expertise.
