She laid out several options for transitional justice under the incoming Biden-Harris administration, including:
Investigations where federal office holders are subpoenaed to testify under oath, at risk of perjury, to the truth of the 2020 election: It was free and fair. If they don't comply with subpoenas or lie, they should be prosecuted.
Arrests and prosecutions of insurrectionists. They need to be punished and others like them must be deterred.
Legal reforms, specifically curtailment of presidential pardon powers. Trump associates are banking on pardons for misdeeds carried out in his service.
A truth commission to more broadly address America's racist past and present. Great proposals from Representative Barbara Lee and Senator Cory Booker have already been presented in both houses of Congress.
