We were pleased to collaborate with the Global Research Institute to host a conversation with Iraqi-Irani journalist, Zahra Ahmad, author of "The Journey Home" – a series of essays published with the Pulitzer Center that explore immigration, national heritage, and intercultural learning and understanding.
In addition to the Pulitzer project, Ahmad spoke to students about her work as an investigative reporter for The Flint Journal in Flint, Michigan and the role that journalists play in keeping local and state governments accountable to their constituents, and in defending the rights of citizens.
Thank you for engaging our scholarly community – we look forward to seeing you again in the future!
