On October 7, Prof. Zvobgo gave a talk on truth commissions and transitional justice at Occidental College as part of the John Parke Young Initiative on the Global Political Economy. She discussed ongoing and future IJL research on the topic, including a project on truth commissions in autocracies like Uganda (coauthored with IJL Affiliated Scholar, Daniel Solomon) and a project on truth commissions in established democracies like Canada (coauthored with IJL Fellows at the University of Southern California, Nastaran Far and Hailey Robertson).
