Dr. Shauna Gillooly on discourse analysis and meaning making in human rights

Many thanks to Dr. Shauna Gillooly, current post-doctoral fellow on the TRIP Survey Project and visiting scholar with the Instituto PENSAR in Colombia, for presenting on how discourse analysis can be used in the study of human rights. In her upcoming book project, Dr. Gillooly uses discourse analysis with an interpretivist approach in order to better analyze the differences in how the state as opposed to other sectors views their role in transitional justice processes. We are so happy to have another expert on human rights, peacebuilding, and TJ at the Global Research Institute, and we look forward to further collaborations with Dr. Gillooly!
