We would like to thank Yevgeny (Eugene) Vindman, a former U.S. Army colonel, for participating in a Tepper Talk we co-sponsored with the Russian and Post-Soviet Studies Program and the Reves Center for International Studies. Vindman presented and answered students' questions regarding the political, military, and legal implications of the war in Ukraine. Following his storied career in the military and as deputy legal advisor for the U.S. National Security Council, Vindman currently investigates war crimes taking place in Ukraine as part of the Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group. We admire Vindman's commitment to fighting for justice and accountability, and we thank him for sharing his insights with William & Mary!
