IJL Director, Kelebogile Zvobgo traveled to New York earlier this week for a truth commission experts meetings convened by the Auschwitz Institute.
One of three political scientists invited, Zvobgo and colleagues explored how truth commissions may contribute to atrocity prevention by reducing social fragmentation and governance risk factors. The report, commissioned by the United Kingdom's Department for International Development (DFID) is forthcoming in 2020.
